Creating Your Personal Photo Project

ART
PHOTOGRAPHY
COURSE

RIGA / ONLINE

Methodically teaches technical skills, artistic composition, and creative thinking.

The course has been running since 2011.
What is a Personal Photo Project?
It's a way to tell a story about your interests—be it a topic, place, people, or emotions—through a series of photographs. These photos reflect your unique vision, thoughts, and feelings.
Think of it like writing a book or directing a film, but using only images.
You don't need to master every photography skill for your photo project.
Just focus on learning the techniques essential to your specific project, and you can even pick them up as you go.
Your project can revolve around anything:
People, places, events, interests, hobbies, countries, fantasies, feelings, and sensations...
Projects can be brought to life using various photography genres and techniques, such as:
Reportage, portrait, still life, architectural photography, nature photography. They can also be color or black-and-white, digital or film.
The final outcome of your project could take many forms, including:
An exhibition, a photo book, an online gallery, postcards, or a calendar. However, if you'd prefer not to create a public art piece, that's completely fine. Your project can simply be a personal diary, a family photo album, or a special gift for specific people.
